Over the last two decades the internet has evolved from a niche past time to an essential part of our daily lives. But despite the technology’s massive progress critics say its become too centralized with power concentrated in hansa of few big tech companies. About Wed stages, first we start from Web 1.0 , which indicates the initial stage of the internet evolution i.e. www. In Web 1.0 , it only have lead only content just like we say Wikipedia where advertisements on websites while surfing the internet are banned. In another word, users can only viewed/read the pages content. The era of Web 1.0 was roughly from 1991 to 2004.

Web 2.0 starts from mid of 2004 where Tim O’Reilly and Dale Dougherty held a conference about first Web 2.0. It highlights use generated content, usability, and interoperability for end users. It is also called the participative social web. From this version it allowed users to interaction and collaboration with each other, also called virtual community. The major features that enhance the Web 1.0 and create Web 2.0 are :
